Is this really the same baby?

I was going back through some pictures and oh my gosh.. if i didn't watch her grow and I was looking at pictures, i would never have guessed they were the same baby

 

 

Look at the first two pictures, then look at the difference in the third, and then she just continued to change. But truly, looking at photo one and two, and then the rest does it look like the same baby? or is it just me! i'm curious!

 

 

 

 

 

Mother in law gift

So my mother in law LOVES homemade gifts (gifts from the heart :) ) so this year we framed our handprints and mailed them to her :)

 

(sorry i don't know how to rotate the pictures) we did all our handprints on top of eachothers (oh it was a challenge keeping paint on her hand and pressing it to the paper let me tell you) and then if you look near the top of the frame we have the puppy and kitty's pawprint too! :)

 

 

Then I thought it's be cool to make the heart shape with both of our hands and then put her handprint in the heart shape our hands made.. i have not yet seen this idea anywhere but i'm sure its out there.. but it turned out great and super cute

 

 

Side note- this is the pop up tent thing Chris got her for christmas.. she loves it. so does the cat haha.

 

She had lots of fun.. we napped in there together. my head and shoulders in and the rest of me hanging out the door lol

Samarah's 18 month stats

Ok.... So here are the stats for my big girl!!
At Samarah's 18 month appt she was 24.47 pounds 70% percentile
Length 33.1 inches 81% percentile
Head Circumference 18.9 inches 88% percentile!! She has a big head lol!!!!

She is growing SOO FAST!!!!

Christmas!!

YES!!!! it let me post pictures for free! did people make such a fuss that they retracted making people pay? whatever the reason.. I am so happy!! i am way behind!! Ok so here is my christmas post!

 

I wasn't really going to get Samarah anything for Christmas because she doesn't really need anything and my family/friends keeps finding toys and giving them to us so i bought her a few books and long sleeve shirts..

 

But then Chris decided he wanted to spend his own spending money that he gets for the week and buy her a bunch of presents, i thought that was VERY admiral and awesome of him!

 

He went and got her the megablocks with a wagon, a pop up tent, a bubble machine and a bumble bee toy that rolls around with lights and sounds.. !

 

I think that I was more excited that Samarah was, NO JOKE. I like fell asleep on the couch and i kept waking up all through the night waiting for samarah to wake up!! She woke up early like 6! I was so excited for her to open presents I didn't feed her breakfast first

 

Here we go!

 

Nanna, my niece, and her boyfriend that lives with us, came upstairs super early too because they wanted to be awake when samarah opened her presents!!

Ok so get this, freakin funny. I got casey this HUG HUGE dog bone. Casey is so good in the way of like eating or chewing on her bone you can pet her, grab her bone, she doesn't growl or care. This bone was wrapped and under the tree and she sat by that bone and DID NOT MOVE ALL Night. I couldn't figure out what the heck her problem was.. then she started growling when the cat or the baby came near her!

 

She has never been like that. She planted herself in front of it and didn't move. we finally had to put it away in our room until the morning. We gave it to her and it was SO big that she actually got kind of frustrated with it. and it stunk real bad so we put it outside. so much for that one.

 Samarah didn't really care past the first present but she still had a blast! She opened the first one and started playing with it and didn't really care about opening more lol. I can't wait until next christmas it will be SOOO FUN with her!

My parents gave us some money to fix up our bathroom which i am very excited about.. the floor is breaking and the toilet clogs all the time..

 

It turned out to be a fairly good christmas!

Thanksgiving!!

Ok So I am trying a post with pictures, when I tried a few months ago it wouldn't let me because of some picture limit that you have to pay for.. But I think I can do it! So its late but at least I'm getting it up!

 

So we went to my parents house this year, and it was the year for the whole family.. We helped my parents rake their yard (Which is HUGE) I love that all of us doing a little bit of work makes such a big difference. Saved my parents hours and hours of time and effort

 

 

Samarah had a bad week. First, she tripped and caught the corner of the fridge at my parents, left a nasty bruise, then she walked into the corner of the tailgate of my dads pickup THEN...

 

While everyone was outside raking leaves, Samarah was running around and my nephew was outside swinging and didn't see samarah and whacked her right in the nose and knocked her over...

 

And she got a bloody nose!! oh my gosh it was SO SAD i was freaking out lol. It was totally an accident but I felt so so so bad

 

Chris has been trying to grow his goatee out.. after watching sons of anarchy, i don't like it!! yuck! I think it makes him look old!

 

Overall it was a pretty good day

Well.. the main reason I got this blog was to post pictures. And now that I have to pay, i have not done any posts for awhile. But I still feel like saying things. So, I might still try, if anyone still feels like reading what I have to say.
