Vegas Part 2

Sorry this is sooo delayed

So my sister and I actually read the instructions and all the rules in the packet that they gave us.. and it told us ABSOLUTELY NO CAMERAS in the concerts. So we didn't take them in. Low and behold they did not enforce it. So we didn't really get any pictures at the actual concerts.

OK SO.... the night we got there (saturday April 6, 2013) there was an exclusive Luke Bryan concert we had tickets to. Now I like a few of Luke Bryan's songs but let me tell you, after watching him perform I am super impressed. Now the concerts I am used to going to are in like huge ampitheaters and like the energy solutions arena. This was just in like a big conference room, several hundred people is all. and it was AMAZING.

We got to be like RIGHT up front i mean literally we were right in front of the stage! This is what I wore for that. Look at the view out of our window!!

My sister and I AFTER the performance

Hey it was like 1 in the morning

In this exclusive Luke  Bryan.. he had Lee Brice come out and sing.. Also Florida Georgia line (i am OBSESSED with their song CRUISE) and Darius Rucker! it was freaking AWESOME!! he sang so many songs and was such a good entertainer and to be right up close was amazing. And then later he won entertainer of the year and i was like only a few feet from him! So the next day was the academy of country music awards.. the actual awards show! and we had tickets.. Here is my sister Dejah.. She ACTUALLY did her hair. I was very proud of her. lol

and me.. I kinda wish i would have worn an evening gown

So when you watch it on tv it looks like the audience is like ALL stars and celebrities.. wow. Not at all. Down on the floor like the first maybe 20 rows of chairs, not even. the rest is ALL THE PUBLIC. I had no idea you could buy tickets to go to those kind of things!! the arena (like the energy solutions one) was full of people who paid to come! we were in the nose bleed but it was still awesome to say we were there. AFTER that. omg. All star Jam. Same conference room that the luke bryan concert was in.. perfomer after performer after performer.. till like 2 in the freaking morning. Brett Elderidge (spelling) brantley gilbert jana kramer luke bryan hunter hayes, keither urban thompsan square, florida georgia line jason aldean joe nickels little big town randy houser, dustin lynch JEWEL eli young band easton corbin lee brice.. and a couple new people that are up and coming i guess i didn't get a few of their names.. Ray scott Morgan frasier.. the guy who wrote the song TRUCK YEAH that tim mcgraw sings, he performed. Holy crap it was awesome.

the NEXT night we had another concert. Called Tim McGraws super star summer night... holy awesome I think i have awesome 100 times now in this post.

They will air it on TV in May. There are all these performers that got together singing summer songs and they aired it in may to get people excited for summer

It was fascinating being behind the scenes. Hearing what the announcer says to everyone and getting everyone in places to be taped. Telling the audience what to do etc..

So it was like really super awesome but we had already seen almost all the performers, don't get me wrong it was awesome and I wouldn't trade it for anything.. but we'd heard all the songs several times already in the previous concerts and then they sang them 2 or 3 times during the tv taping to make sure they got the best shots so then it was kind of like ok...

Pitbull came out and performed, the energy when he sang was unmatched. Keith Urban, Faith Hill, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum Tim McGraw Florida Georgina line performed with Nelly, Neyo and tim McGraw. Keith Urban went into the crowd not too far from us!! Some of you may have watched it on tv, since its already aired two months ago :) and I am so behind

I am finishing this post like 3 months later lol. So that was Monday night then we left Tuesday but not till late at night so we just walked the strip all day and hung out. Overall the trip was amazing and gave my sister and I a chance to do something we never could have done on our own in our life. I am so grateful for the experience.
