I forgot about casey when i packed

So.. I moved enough of my necessary things back into my provo house to begin sleeping there.. and I was making trios back up to Orem to pack each day. Well the first day I went up I packed the back of my truck and the cab of my truck full, and then realized I still had to take my dog back home too!! Ha so I barely made enough room and she jumped in.. and whole driving the things i had pushed to the side like all fell down on her. I tried to get some pics. Bear with me cuz they are all at the end with this blog app thing! The one where there is samarah notice casey in the back half covered lol.
I tried to plan better my next trips!!

Derby!

Went to demolition derby in nephi tonight with my sister! It was awesome! I love derbys. Chris and I always used to go. He used to derby when he was younger, well his dad and family and friends all did it was a big part of his life while growing up! I thought about him at the derby, but it was good memories. The derby was awesome!! I haven't been in several years and it was good to spend time with my sister! Samarah was with chris.. on one hand I think she would have loved it, but then again it lasted for hours how do you keep a two year old oh wait she is three now, at 3 year old entertained for four hours on a tiny little bench crammed with people nowhere for her to move or sit or walk. In a few years at a different venue with more room lol.

Absent

So I have hardly blogged all! I want to and I am always thinking of things to blog about but my laptop is broken, so is my camera.. so then I tried on ny phone and it wouldn't work. So now I found an app and downloaded it so hopefully I can do better now! But all the pics are at the end of the post  because that is just how the post thing works for phone so bear with me :)

One of my good friends got married, I moved back home, had a family reunion.. Samarah turned 3!!! I'll update you! Coming soon!

So this year, chris had her overnight on the 3rd, so I picked her up part way through the day on the 4th.. it was already hot when I picked her up.. I tried to take her to the festivities in downtown provo, kids crafts, and it did not workout so well... she was hot, tired, grumpy.. so we went home and she went to bed early.  She didnt get to see any fireworks! I was in an awful mood! Turned off my phone and later watched some fireworks on my roof :) she was very excited about her face being painted though :) here is some pics.

Is that you spell that? oh well it doesn't matter! you will all know what I mean! i know I have been gone for a few months! I have so much to fill you in on!

Yesterday, being Wednesday May 28, 2014, Samarah was inside Chris's car. She was leaning against the door from the inside as it was opened from the outside. And she fell out right onto her head. And the result is this lovely bugger

It is literally like the size of an egg! I tried using a flash but it actually doesn't look as bad when there is the flash blinding everything! it is HUGE!

Then on Saturday she was standing on some landscaping bricks playing with rocks, and the bricks slipped and her foot went inbetween them, and she got the biggest blood blister I've ever seen!! Ever! it is like the side of her whole toe! oh she was so miserable she cried out all night saying her toe hurt! She has had a rough 7 days :( because she was also sick!

Guess this was just an injury update lol

I could die tomorrow...

So what do I want to do today?

Seriously. It could be a car accident. A shooter at the next movie theatre I'm at. A plane crash. I could be hit while running with my dog. I could be hurt in my line of work, bit by a rattlesnake. It could happen to any of us. In as long as its taking me to write this sentence, it could be over.

This could be a VERY long post. I think I will just give you a few points I've been thinking about. to keep it short.

I have a pretty good life.  But man, its hard. and I get stressed out and down in the dumps sometimes at 'life'. I decided to start doing the things I want to do, instead of thinking they are not attainable. I want to take piano lessons. If I budget right, I can do it. Really, so many things are attainable with the right budgeting, so its a matter of changing a few things and achieving it will be within my grasp! I want to leave life having actually lived it! and living it doesn't have to be extravagant things!

I am going to make a living trust, so that if die suddenly, those who have to sort out my life/finances/and possessions, are not stuck in such a SUCKY spot, they will have some direction.

Its funny how we live in the present, but plan for the future, and including that, is planning on what  you are going to leave behind when you are gone. past/present/future/death is a line I am trying to walk all at once.. But its an optimistic line :)

Sorry if the title scared anyone haha I just realized how it might come across!!

Ice Fishing!

I decided that I am going to start experiencing different things in life! I'm not going to pass up things I used to. I am having a blast hanging out and trying new things.

One of the recent new things was.. ice fishing!! I have a friend who was going with a group, and invited me to go.. okay so lets back up here. What do you think of when you think of ice fishing? Anything I have ever seen, you're sitting, on a bucket or a chair, over a hole in the ice. So I THOUGHT I dressed warm. I had new snow boots, wool socks, thermals, jeans, snow pants, then tank top, thermals, hoody, winter coat..oh WAIT, I forgot my coat. WHAT???? Really???

 

So anyway..My friend kept saying, if you're cold when you're fishing, you're not doing it right. what?!  Low and behold, here comes out a tent, and propane heaters. Wow. spoiled!  It was so cold when we first got there, the tips of my hair were turning white, and my nose hairs were like frozen together. I have never experienced that it was crazy!! I had remembered a beanie thank goodness. Well its a dang good thing we fish the cheating way because without my winter coat it would have been miserable! And brand new freaking snow boots with wool socks and my toes freaking hurt and were cold just from a few minutes on the ice.

 
 
 

 

 

 

SO, pretty awesome, cut a hole in the ice.. Put the tent over and it like blacked it out and you could actually see down into the bottom of the lake! We sat there with the poles for a few hours and then I got to actually see the fish bite the bait! I was like the only one out of everyone to catch a fish! I have been wanting to try cooking with fish more cuz its good for you.. so my friend showed me how to cook the fish, and it was really good! It was a rainbow trout! and.. it was Samarah's first time eating fish.. and she loved it! she ate a ton but kept calling it chicken.

Can't wait for the next new thing!
